There is a choice of two lovely romantic suites for couples holidays. The cool interiors with natural limestone flooring, white washed beams and ceilings, exposed vanilla stone walls and attention to detail make them a truly relaxing and special place to stay. Both suites have open plan living rooms with fully equipped traditional galley kitchen and central dining area with French antique table and chairs, comfy sofas and UK statelite tv and free wi-fi. The bedrooms are spacious enough for the addition of a cot (Patou) or single bed (Coco) if required. The bathrooms are provided with a selection of quality toiletries, bath robes and slippers at the beginning of your stay. Each has its own private outside garden space with dining furniture, day beds, bbq and parasol.

Patou is our ‘top spec’ luxuriously converted ‘pigeonnier’ on two floors which benefits from spectacular views across the valley from the 1st floor mezzanine bedroom. Upgraded free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning. When you first step through the glazed front door your eyes are immediately drawn upwards into the impressive roof space, with its white washed beams and quirky windows. Downstairs the spacious open-plan living area houses a cosy lounge area with two seater sofa, stone fireplace, limestone floor, antique mirrors, chandeliers and satelite tv. The kitchen area is fitted with retro Smeg appliances and natural stone work surfaces. Upstairs you find a spacious mezzanine bedroom with solid oak flooring, sumptuous antique painted super-king sized bed with Sealy posturepoedic mattress, funky ‘bird’ wallpaper and exposed stone walls retaining some of the original pigeon niches. There is a luxurious ensuite bathroom with double sized walk-in shower and charming converted antique wash stand with bowl sink. The staircase is fitted with built-in secure stair guards at top and bottom for child safety. Outside, set apart from the barn, Patou has its own private garden space with furnished dining area, bbq, parasol, and day beds flanked by lavender, roses and wisteria.

The gorgeous Coco suite benefits from all ground floor accommodation. Glazed French doors open into an airy open-plan living space with limestone floors and cool colours, where a cosy three seater sofa is set by a traditional ‘Toulouse stone’ feature fireplace, and takes in views across the valley and gardens. There is a wonderfully spacious double bedroom tastefully furnished with sumptuous painted French antique king sized bed and Sealy posturepoedic mattress, antique mirrors and chandeliers. The delightful luxury bathroom retains the original impressive beam work and limestone tiling, vintage style roll-top bath and fully tiled walk-in shower with ‘wet and dry space’.

Adjacent to Lartigue, Coco’s French doors open out onto an extensive covered veranda, with its own furnished outside dining space, and bbq perfect for enjoying al fresco dining or leisurely hours in the shade. In addition, to the front of the barn, there is a 2^nd private sunny garden space with day beds and dining area with parasol, where one can indulge oneself with an evening aperitif, whilst watching a spectacular sunset.
