Four or More
Our two larger suites are perfect for small groups of families or friends of 5 or 6 people. Vionnet has two bedrooms comprising two double bedrooms, one of which has an extra single bed. Lartigue has three bedrooms comprising two double rooms and a twin-bedded room. Each suite has a large open plan living, kitchen, dining area with comfy sofas, free wi-fi, UK satellite tv, antique mirrors, chandeliers and limestone floors throughout. A selection of quality toiletries, bath robe and slippers are provided at the beginning of your stay. Outside each suite has their own furnished al fresco dining areas with veranda, bbq and day beds.
Vionnet is a very private split-level suite is situated to the rear of the barn, where one enters directly into a spacious living area through glazed French doors. It has impressive 5m high ceilings, exposed vanilla stone wall, superb beam work and natural limestone flooring.
Comfortable twin sofas are arranged around a ‘Toulouse stone’ feature fireplace. Windows to two sides and the glazed French doors allow one to experience the lovely views out over the gardens and valley beyond.
At the far end, the traditional fully-equipped galley-style kitchen gives you the chance to try out a little French cuisine over a fine bottle of wine, (or two!) at the extendable central dining table.
Up a few steps, the two beautiful double bedrooms, both with king sized beds, feature high beamed ceilings, one with extra single bed, large picture windows, natural limestone flooring, crystal chandeliers and exposed vanilla stone walls. This provides a fitting backdrop to the stylish blend of modern and French country antique furniture. The master bedroom benefits from a king size Sealy posturepedic mattress. Cots can be provided as required.
Two lovely bathrooms serve the two bedrooms. One on ground level with a fully tiled walk-in shower with ‘wet and dry’ space, wc, and hand wash basin, and the luxurious main bathroom up a few steps has a bath with limestone tiled surround, heated towel rail and full size airing cupboard.
The private south facing garden area has table, chairs and covered terrace for outdoor dining, and a small sunny lawn flanked by floral rockery and cypress trees. From here one can sit and watch the many migrant birds that visit the garden, and enjoy great views over the grounds with glimpses of the valley beyond the trees.

Lartigue’s vast fully glazed former barn doors allow daylight to flood into the airy open-plan living space with impressive 6m high ceilings, colour-washed beams, period doors and limestone flooring.
A cosy lounge section provides space for reading and watching movies or UK satellite tv, free wi-fi and is set adjacent to the ‘Toulouse stone’ feature fireplace and huge glazed French doors, taking full advantage of the garden views. Beyond this lies the fully equiped traditional style kitchen with granite work surface, vintage style Smeg fridge, where you can experiment with regional Gascon cuisine and large slate top dining table and chairs where you can enjoy the results!
The two cozy double bedrooms have queen and king sized beds, and one twin bedroom with 2 full sized single beds with enough room for cots too. All three bedrooms are stylishly furnished with comfortable deep mattresses, antique mirrors, luxurious linens and vintage crystal wall lights. The Master bedroom benefits from a Sealy king size posturepoedic mattress.
Two luxurious bathrooms serve the 3 bedrooms, one with vintage style roll-top bath and unique twin sinks, the other with limestone tiled walk in shower with wet and dry space. Both have natural limestone tiling throughout, heated towel rails and are provided with a selection of quality toiletries at the beginning of your stay.
French doors open onto an extensive covered veranda, which keeps lovely and cool in the mid-day heat, with full complement of garden dining furniture, where the whole family can enjoy ‘al fresco’ dining while chilling in the shade. To one side there is a sunny seating area with day beds and bbq while the front lawn provides a great place for little ones to play.
