Vast fully glazed former barn doors allow daylight to flood into the airy open-plan living space with impressive 6m high ceilings, painted beams, period doors and limestone flooring.
This open-plan space is large enough to entertain the whole party of 13 where one can spend time with friends + family sampling the local wine or enjoying the results of one’s cooking!
The huge slate top dining table is set next to a ‘Toulouse stone’ feature fireplace and French doors, taking full advantage of the garden views. Beyond which lies the traditional style kitchen, where one can experiment with regional Gascon cuisine. A cosy lounge section provides space for reading and watching movies or UK tv. The sofa folds out to provide another bed where required.
bedrooms
The 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom with 2 single beds, are stylishly furnished with comfortable deep matresses, wardrobe and chest of drawers or dressing table and chair. Antique mirrors, luxurious linens, vintage crystal wall lights, decorative rugs and soft furnishings complete the look. Up to 3 cots can also be provided.
bathrooms
2 luxurious bathrooms serve the 2 bedrooms, one with vintage style roll-top bath and twin sinks, the other with walk in shower with wet and dry space. Both have natural limestone tiling throughout, heated towel rails and are provided with a selection of L’Occitane toiletries at the beginning of your stay.
outside
French doors open onto an extensive covered veranda, with full complement of teak garden dining furniture, where one can enjoy ‘al fresco’ dining in the shade.
In addition there is a private sunny seating area with barbecue.
